Visual Identity, Multi-Site Web Platforms & Climate Resilience Initiatives
The County of San Mateo Sustainability Department (formerly the Office of Sustainability) works to improve environmental and operational sustainability across the region through renewable energy, resource conservation, active transportation, and greenhouse gas reduction programs. To address urgent regional challenges—such as affordable housing shortages and coastal climate risks—the department launched dedicated community hubs, including Home for All, the Second Unit Center, and Sea Change San Mateo County, an initiative focused on sea level rise resilience in the Bay Area.
The Impact
As part of a lean creative team at Circlepoint, I collaborated with the comprehensive rebrand for the Office of Sustainability and built the digital infrastructure for its flagship initiatives. I led the web development for the core Sustainability Department site, as well as the Home for All and Second Unit Center web platforms, creating accessible resource centers on affordable housing for residents, business owners, and local officials. For Sea Change San Mateo County, I designed the initiative’s wordmark, collaborated on overall brand development and graphic design, and led the end-to-end web design and development for its public launch.
