The Caltrain Modernization (CalMod) Program represents a major infrastructure transformation designed to electrify the commuter rail system along the San Francisco Peninsula. Aimed at improving system performance, increasing service frequency, and reducing travel times, the electrification initiative significantly curtails regional environmental impacts by lowering greenhouse gas emissions, reducing noise pollution, and improving air quality for Bay Area commuters.

The Impact

Working within a small creative team at Circlepoint, I helped deliver a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to inform and engage the public throughout the modernization process. I led the multi-phase design and development for the official CalMod program website, creating a clear, accessible digital platform to track project milestones, station upgrades, and service impacts. Additionally, I produced custom multi-channel graphics across web, social, and print, and personally illustrated and animated the program’s "Did You Know" educational campaign video to communicate complex infrastructure improvements to the community.
